SANTA ROSA, Calif. – Four juveniles were arrested Wednesday morning in connection with a violent attempted murder after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in a confrontation near Boyd Street and Hickory Circle, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.

At approximately 8:20 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, police discovered the victim, a 15-year-old boy, on the ground suffering from multiple stab wounds. The teenager was bleeding heavily from injuries to his chest, wrist, head, and neck. Medical personnel arrived shortly after, providing first aid before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital. His injuries were considered life-threatening at the time.

Investigators learned that the victim and his 15-year-old friend were waiting at a bus stop when they were approached by four or five male suspects who arrived in a vehicle. The suspects allegedly made gang-related threats and attempted to rob the two boys. Several of the suspects were reportedly armed with knives.

A physical altercation ensued during the attempted robbery, and at some point, the victim was stabbed multiple times. After the attack, the suspects fled the scene in their vehicle. Fortunately, a witness was able to provide police with a detailed description of the vehicle, including the license plate number. Officers later determined that the vehicle had been reported as stolen.

Following a thorough investigation, police arrested the four juveniles involved in the incident. They face charges of attempted murder and robbery. Authorities are continuing their investigation and have not released further details about the suspects’ identities.

The victim remains in critical condition as he receives treatment at the hospital. Police have assured the public that efforts are being made to ensure the safety of the community and to hold those responsible for the attack accountable.

This incident highlights the ongoing concerns surrounding youth violence and the involvement of minors in serious criminal activities. Local authorities have yet to comment on any potential gang affiliations related to the suspects.
