The world becomes a better place every time a good deed gets done. The better and better our lives as human beings get, the more good deeds that are committed each day. It lifts me up whenever I see a good deed taking place. It puts me in a good mood, and makes me proud of humanity, and it is enough to remind you of what is good in the world that nineteen-year – old John Lopez Jr. of Princeton, Texas, did while working in Walmart.

It goes without saying, as a cashier at his local Walmart, that Lopez is not swimming in cash. He makes a measly salary, which has to be budgeted carefully, so he doesn’t spend too much on non-essential things. Every time they see him working in the store , customers know that Lopez is kind and courteous.

That’s why his line is usually filled up as people are prepared to wait for him to check them out.

However, at the same Walmart where Lopez worked and watched him do something amazing, Laci Simms was waiting in line. Although as a Walmart cashier, Lopez makes a meager paycheck, he was prepared to spend that hard-earned cash to give a blessing to someone else.

In obvious distress over her inability to pay, I just witnessed this ‘kid’ pay for a cart of merchandise for a woman. She was a few people ahead of us, and when she struggled to pay her bill, he stepped in and told her he would pay her total if she’d waited. Y’all, $110 dollars was it! Singing, upbeat, courteous, joyful, and efficient, he is always.

I don’t know John ‘s story, but I don’t think he is even 20 years old. He just renewed my faith in humanity and the generation we are raising! This is shared by everyone, so the world knows what a blessing John is to our community! Because Lopez’s good deed did not go unnoticed, Walmart shared an update that included part of Simms ‘s quote in partnership with their Walmart Supercenter location in Princeton, Texas.

When (this woman) had trouble paying her bill, he stepped in and told her she would pay her total if she were to wait.

Y’all, $110 dollars was it! My faith in humanity and the generation that we are raising has just been renewed! “This holiday season, John is a shining example to all of us, and we’re proud he’s on our team.

A sensation became Lopez. He discovered that CBS DFW was interviewing himself and said that he never knew he was being watched. While his salary usually goes into his savings at Walmart, he decided to give it all away this time.

She began to cry, and I was like, ‘OK, I got you, I got you,'” said John Lopez Jr..” “In my heart, I just felt that the Lord told me I had to help her.

Lopez was just doing what he was taught to do by his parents.

My parents basically taught me that you should be able to help them if someone needs help, and if someone is down, bring them up, “he told DFW.” “I have made it my goal to make someone smile in at least one way.
