Napa, CA – The National Weather Service has upgraded its forecast to a flood warning for Napa, in effect through 4 a.m. Authorities caution that river levels may rise higher than originally expected, potentially causing water to overflow in low-lying areas.

Locations at risk include:
– Lake Park and Shoreline Drive
– Lincoln Avenue from Silverado Trail to the railroad tracks
– Areas south of Central Avenue to Vallejo, east of Soscol Avenue
– Imola and South Coombs, along with marsh areas near Napa Valley College
– Downtown blocks near the First Street Bridge and the Oxbow

Residents in flood-prone areas are encouraged to move vehicles to higher ground. Sandbags are available at the Corporation Yard, 770 Jackson Street, for those in need.

Napa Fire, Police, Public Works, and Parks crews will be monitoring conditions and responding to any issues overnight.
