Napa, CA – A person was safely rescued on Sunday following a medical emergency in the Brushy Peak Regional Reserve, a popular park in the East Bay.
The emergency occurred early in the morning, just before 9 a.m. Tri-Valley firefighters responded to the call, which initially reported the incident near North Vasco and Los Vaqueros roads. However, further information confirmed the individual was located within Brushy Peak, which is managed by the East Bay Regional Park District.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and provided immediate medical care to the patient. Due to the remote location of the emergency, a helicopter paramedic crew was dispatched to assist with the rescue operation. The helicopter airlifted the individual to a nearby trauma center for further treatment.
Fortunately, the rescue was carried out successfully, and the individual is now receiving the necessary medical care. The quick response from local emergency services ensured a safe resolution to the incident.
