Rohnert Park, CA – Sonoma County residents now have expanded access to healthcare with the opening of a new Sutter Health care center in Rohnert Park. Located at 6000 State Farm Drive, the state-of-the-art facility officially opened its doors Thursday, offering a wide range of services including primary care, urgent care, imaging, and lab testing.
Sutter Health views the opening as part of its ongoing commitment to provide integrated healthcare closer to home for Northern California residents, particularly in rapidly growing communities like Rohnert Park. The center is expected to serve as a key resource for both individuals and families in the region.
“We’re excited to open this new primary and urgent care center in Rohnert Park, a community that’s expanding rapidly,” said Erin Neal, ambulatory CEO of Sutter’s Greater San Francisco Division. “By increasing Sutter’s presence here, particularly with high-demand services like lab and imaging, we’re helping more people receive timely, coordinated care in a modern setting that’s designed for convenience and efficiency.”
The new center is housed in a transformed building, once home to a Pac Bell call center. After a nearly $17 million investment, the facility was completely remodeled over the span of eight months. Layton Construction led the project, converting the space into a modern healthcare hub designed to meet the needs of the community.
Healthcare services offered at the Rohnert Park facility include:
-
Primary Care: Comprehensive healthcare services for individuals of all ages
-
Urgent Care: Walk-in treatment with extended hours and weekend availability
-
Specialized Services: Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), with plans to expand specialty services in the future
-
Diagnostic Services: On-site X-ray, CT scans, and ultrasound
-
Lab Services: Convenient, on-site lab testing for quicker results
Dr. Michael Magnotti, CEO of Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods, emphasized the importance of bringing more healthcare providers to the local community. “This investment is about ensuring that people and families in Rohnert Park have access to a trusted care team nearby, allowing them to lead healthier lives,” he said. “Having imaging and lab services on-site also means faster results, helping both patients and clinicians make informed decisions quickly.”
The addition of this healthcare center is seen as a major step in addressing the growing demand for healthcare services in the region, ensuring that Rohnert Park residents can receive the care they need without having to travel far from home.
